Bought a Cimarron (Chiappa) Plinkerton .22LR revolver and was wondering if anyone else has changed out the grips. Will Colt SAA grips or any type of other replica grips fit this gun?

I was just in the shop of a stocking Cimarron dealer. He had about 30 or more Cimarron replica hand guns and they were all Uberti made. I am guessing that grips from other Uberti replicas might fit Cimarrons. However, I have no proof of this. You will need to explore further. But, for example, I have a Navy Arms Scout which is a smaller frame SAA replica in .38 special. It is made by Uberti. Cimarron sells the same frame, perhaps nicer finish and grips, and calls it the Model P junior. I would have no doubt the parts are mechanically interchangable on the two guns. Also, I think Uberti markets this same gun under another name.
