What are the best 3 gun stages you have shot? What made them fun?

Rifle stage.

Starting position: standing in front of a 3 ft tall ramp, ramping in the up range direction.

On signal take prone position on ramp, enguage 4, 1.5 inch square steel blocks set on a RR Tie set in the back berm (about 30 yards). Move forward to range left position and onto a pressure plate that activates a bear claw (No shoot popup to cover target) at close range and also activates a drop turner at the furthest (far right) corner of the range. Move forward into a tight hall way with a mix of static shoot and NS targets at 2 to 7 yd ranges.

I liked it because it had a mix of precision (small steel blocks), point blank targets, rapid aquisition on drop turn and bear claw), field position shooting, and CQB elements.

I've only shot two 3 gun matches, but I shot one at Arkansas City, Kansas that was wild! You started seated and shot down about four steel poppers about 100-130 yards away. Then you advanced to a tunnel made by putting plastic over barrels. Down one side tunnel was a paper target. Exiting the tunnel there were about four paper targets at ranges of 30 to 80 yards. Then down another tunnel system, with four or five paper targets down side passages. Then out and clear a wooden stockade with two more paper targets. Intense, dirty, and fun.
