Small caliber centerfire varmint type rifle. Earned its fame in 22-250. Not bad for 243 Winchester.
Passable in 223 Rem, but R15 and Varget are better.

Alliant Reloder 10x for .223 Remington and Hodgdon H4350 for .243 Winchester. Since these are the only two calibers that I rangefire, I feel I pegged these calibers velocity and accuracywise. Since I recently bought some 105 grain Lapua Scenar bullets, the jury remains out on these bullets until spring warms anew. Since STICKY notations seem aimed at my prescribed loads, I will forgo posting specific loads that work well for me. cliffy

I use H-380 for my .30-30 and am in the process of developing a load for my newly acquired Marlin XL7 in .30-06.

38 grains behind a 52-gr bullet for 22-250 was the claim to fame for this powder. Bruce Hodgdon developed it and the .22-250 as well.

Shoots real well in my .308 behind a 168gr SMK. All holes touching at 100yds.
