I went to my local shop to pay off the revolver I had on layaway, a Ruger GP-100 6" half-lug in blued finish. I installed a set of Goncalo Alves Hogue grips later today, which helps in the appearance and how it sits in my hand. It sits on my nightstand loaded with 158 grain PMC Starfires. On the way out I noticed a slightly used SIG-Sauer P230 in .380 ACP. The sticker price was $429.99 but when I asked the owner of the store how much he said that since I was a "preferred customer" that I could buy it for $300. Done deal. The Sig now sports a set of finger-groove Hogue rubber grips and loaded with Golden Sabres. Can't wait to shoot the Sig as the Ruger I've shot already.
