Federal Premium Vital Shok 12ga 2 3/4" 00 Buck-Don't Know how I'll get it in a Pistol, though.
Seriously just the 9mm, I'm pretty sure the 12 ga is good.

Pretty much any of the "self defense" ammo marketed by the major manufacturers to the police and the public is good for that purpose. +P is usually a little more effective than standard pressure but its not like the standard pressure is significantly less effective. Under any given circumstance one particular make may be slightly better than another but in actual overall performance they'll all be pretty close. Most important is how reliable and accurate they are in your pistol. Its more important to hit a vital spot than the type of ammo you do it with.

I bought enough to find out accuracy. 7 yards is what was preached in CCW Class. I coulda thrown the gun and passed. I'll try 25 and 7 just so I know. More than 25 means long gun anyway except for range time.
Says 1110 fps at muzzle, 1030 at 50 yds, and 971 at 100 yds. on box.

I'll be shocked if it doesn't feed and fire well. Glocks seem to eat anything I throw at them.

A few years back the XTP was slow to expand. I have heard that they corrected this, but I am not certain.
