Mec Gar makes the OEM mags for Sig, CZ and others.

My P226 came with Mec Gar mags and they have been flawless.

Mec Gar and Metalform are the only two brands I will buy.

The good (never a problem):
Kel-Tec P32 (7 rnds.) and P11 (10 rnds.)
CZ75B (16 rnds.)
SIG P229 .40 (12 rnds.)

Bad
Kel Tec P11 (12 rnds.) Rounds nose dive; I've tried two different magazines and extra power springs to no avail (I believe the follower skirt is too short). Then again, this could be particular to my pistol as others report no problems. I'll stick with the ten rounders as they feed perfectly in it.

Regards,
Greg

I've never had a problem with them, they seem to be the best of the pistol magazine producers by far.

Has anyone had any experience with them in a Ruger P95?

Not exactly. I've used their magazines for a Beretta Bobcat, Browning Hi-Power, CZ75 Compact, and Ruger PC9 (which uses the same mags as a P95). I got the PC9 to feed great from both the P89/95 Mecgar mags, AND the CZ mags. :)

Yes... I bought a couple of MecGar's a few years ago for my Ruger P95DC which is my "car gun". I couldn't be more pleased! The magazines are stored in my car stuffed to capacity at all times, through all kinds of temperature extremes, etc... They have always worked flawlessly when I go to the range.

I own five 9mm hicap Mec-gar mags for my Hi Power. I have found them to be very reliable. I heard that they make the factory Browning mags, so I guess you can't really call them "aftermarket." I'll gladly take the Mec-gar's and pocket the extra $20 that the factory mags cost.

I guess the floorplate and Browning emblem are expensive to make?

I have a large number of MecGar magazines for a number of different pistols. They all work exactly as intended.

I actually had a bad Mec-Gar I got used for a Browning HP. Weak spring after who knows how many rounds. Still, the vast, vast majority of these magazines are absolutely fine. Mec-Gar replaced mine for free ;)

Another +1 on them. I've used them for a couple different pistols, and never had any problems with the 4-5 I've owned.

Mec-gar makes OEM mags for CZ and they work great.

I have a Kel-Tec mec-gar masg for a P11 and it works fine, but they make OEM mags for Kel-Tec as well.

As far as mags for any pistol: I'd buy factory or mec-gar. Nothing else.

They've worked flawlessly in my Sig P226. Had some trouble with their 8-rnd mags in my 1911's. They exchanged them for 7-rnd mags which work better, but still give a few problems. I don't think my 1911's like the stepped follower on the MecGar mags.

3 of 5 CZ mags are Mec-Gar.
Zero problems.

Some of my followers are starting to show signs of wear. Know where I can buy any?
