Hello Folks !

I need some help on the value of this Zeiss Scope. It was part of an original argie mauser 1909 sniper rifle. scope is complete with rings, mounts, and mounting hardware. Nothing broken.
Any idea on the value of it?

Thanks!

Alex

Don't know about the scope, but genuine 1909 snipers are well regarded and quite rare. IIRC, they were still in active service right up to the war with the UK so you don't see too many on the market. The scope might be quite valuable.

You might try parrallax's speciality board for South American Mausers. There are some serious collectors over there.

The one thing I can tell you for sure is to do nothing whatsoever to it. The collectors of South American Mausers in particular are pretty *touchy* about alternations.
