The black synthetic stocks on some of my rifles look kind of shabby. gun oil stains white residue from gunscrubber bore cleaner etc. Anybody have any suggestions on a way to make em look sharp again?

You might try Armorall. This might be a good time try your hand at a camo paint job.

I agree, try the paint job. I hear Krylon Camo works well. Armour all will make the stock difficult to grip. Made that mistake with the steering wheel on my car :o

I've never tried this myself but it looks like a decent product. http://www.theconsumerlink.com/HOPPES/detail/TCL+PSR2/117
