I almost posted in the bamboo thread, but I made my own. I had my Corn Plant die off a couple of years ago. Thats a popular house plant. So I easily cut a piece about 16 inches long. A few months ago I sanded it and coated a bunch of times with poly. That thing is very light and seemingly very strong and hard. If the wife will let you or you come across a piece, try it out

OK, Maker, I got on it. Not really thou. :uhoh: In my estimation, it weighs about the same as my Zippo. It swings so fast that you can't even see it and is very hard, after sitting for 3 years.
