winchester defender barrel

Ive got a 12GA winchester model 120 pump with an 18" defender barrel. Can i shoot rifled slugs out of this or will this damage something?

If it is a smoothbore barrel, you can shoot Forster type rifled slugs till the cows come home, or your shoulder gives out. That & buckshot is what it was made for

You cannot shoot sabot type slugs in it.

They are for rifled barrels.
