A local shop that specializes in surplus arms has a Enfield No4 Mk1 Longbranch for 179. The wood is pretty bad. It has the flip up graduated peep sights out to 2000m.

The thing is a shooter as the butt stock and the fore stocks are totally differend wood.

1. I want to offer the guy a lot less because of the rough condition. Price check? 125?

2. Can new stocks be had for these?

Sure are! Check the following link to APEX Gun Parts. I have dealt with them in the past & service was very good.
