Who shoots or have shot this ammo in 45acp? How is the accuracy, recoil? Any ftf/fte with this round?

The test medium will have you laughing your butt off, but other than that this is a very well written (and positive) review.

The ammolabs data:

...backs the Tennessee boys up - this is GOOD stuff. The closest they came to a "failure" (3/4" plywood AND demin barriers) still expanded to .60 and penetrated 16" of gel, while shedding less than 10 grains. That's about what an E-FMJ can do on it's BEST day.

Arguably, from a 5" barrel the 230grain Gold Dot loadings may be better. By a hair. Only if you REALLY really care about max penetration and bone-smashing and want the momentum of a 230 - there's a lot of good to be said for this load and the Pow'R'Ball.

In a 3" barrel, it's my opinion that the Pow'R'Ball utterly dominates. Almost to the "you'd be crazy to use anything else" point. The 230s won't get up enough speed from a 3"...plus feed issues are a bit finicky with the ultra-compact 1911s and Pow'R'Balls feed GREAT.

If your gun is feed-finicky in any barrel length, there is NO better answer.

"Pow' R Ball, somebody's gonna win......might as well be you!"

ROTFLMAO!:D :D :D

If for no other reason than the slogan, I just gotta try some in my PT-145. Also, anything that Jim March thinks is a good idea, I'll listen to with respect!
