Ever heard about shares issued to owners of fractions of a milking cow? I read it's a loophole around a ban on consuming raw milk by anyone except the cow's owner.

Similarly, would a cooperative [acting, in effect, as an insurance surrogate] be a more economical way to have a criminal lawyer handy for an unlikely event one needs him after shooting? As oppose to pre-paid general "legal plans", I am talking about a more comprehensive and specialized coverage.

I would be willing to join one in my area, provided it's for permit owners only (expected to be low priced because of low usage). This way, I would be able to afford to have even a couple of back-up lawyers on hand at any time.;)
