What's the blade on that? Something like 27 inches?
That looks like it would be a joy to hold.
Blades like that, balanced properly, are wicked effective and don't promote fatigue.
What sort of steel, heat treat, edge grind?
The handle looks a little smooth, so probably not terribly practical.
Yeah. That's it. Not practical at all.
Have him send it to me for disposal.

Smooth ivory is a practical grip. Moist hands stick to ivory.
