How about pooling money together and buying an island? Then we can make our own government and shoot all day long. In order to live on the island you have to own a gun of some sort...any other ideas?

My girlfriend's father had a chance to go on a deal on an Island with his business partners.

1 million dollars for a big island off the coast of Belize, where he works. At that point (the '80s), Belize wasn't a hotspot for tourism, so he thought "What's the point?"

He would have had to pony up 10% of the price. His business partners would get the rest.
