details you got it.
paint was krylon camo ultra flat (camo), the stuff from wal mart. base coat was #4292 brown
i started by taping off everything that i didn't want to get painted, iron sights, eotech lens on the light etc.
i then covered the rifle with the brown. nice neat even all the way around.
then i layed a piece of the approx 1" netting over it. the stuff you use to make a ghillie suit. streched the netting out, and sprayed the #4291 khaki, a light coating on the whole gun but not allot. enough to see the contrast in the 2 colors, but little enough that the brown would still show through a little even on the lighter colored surfaces.

verry Nice possum!
Id do something similar brother, if I had more than one AR..lol.
In the mean time, Im using matte camo duct tape for spring/summer/fall.. winter Ill use 1inch wide white medical tape.
cheap, but itll effectively break up the outline, and itll be removable..
again, nice work!
