Hello guys I always wanted to get a decent looking M1 carbine and when i called one of the gunshop today one of them have an Inland carbine and he said its in excellnet condition so i went a head and checked it out, I used to own a plainfield m1 and i think this one is a lot better than that ( i hope) so anyway I put it on layaway for my xmas gift for myself ,here she is.

Beautiful piece. Make sure you get the understanding that if that thing doesn't fire you can get a raincheck.

Looks like someone did a real nice job on that one. I really like dark grey and black parkerizing. I've reparked a couple and it's hard to get a real good consistent finish. It takes a lot of prep work before you apply the finish.
