Seen these new mags for the cz75 and wanted to know if anyone has used them. New follower color and "special anti-friction type coating".

http://www.topgunsupply.com/mec-gar-cz-75-9mm-19rd-afc.htmlLooks like they make them in 19 rds, and 17rds that sit flush. CDNN also lists the 17rd mags but not the 19rd'ers.

Anyone use them yet? Got a report?

The sit flush, but only because they have an extended baseplate. I have some for my Sigs, and they work just as well as all other MecGar magazine's do.

Mec-gar makes the factory CZ mags, IIRC, so it would be a sfae bet that they work quite well.

Nope, haven't used them, but MecGar and quality go hand in hand, would buy with confidence.

Yes everyone knows mecgar makes factory cz mags, what I was asking is if anyone has any experience with these. Ive tried their 16 rd mags but want to know about these with the new finish and more capacity.

rbernie- when I said flush i was refering to the 17rd mags, the 19rd'ers are quite obviously extended.

Is noone else excited about these? Has anyone even heard of them, much less used them?

just ordered the 19rnd version...basically the 17rnd mag with a +2 basepad..

also have a couple of the new style mags for my CZ.40S&W. they work great..nice finish..they are slightly longer than the older mag as they basepad is different.. it is not the stepped flat baseplate..but a slight thicker plastic basepad.

I don't have a full size CZ, so I haven't tried the new mags. If I did, I would certainly give them a go! Would like to see a report, eerw, if you would?

I will..

I ran my .40 mags a couple of time through my .40 SP01..and they ran fine. no surprises..smooth feeding..ejected cleanly out of the gun.
what I do like is the feedlips on the closer together..so they will actually hold and feed 9mm pretty reliably.. doing that...they hold 17rounds with no modifications..add the MecGar +2 pad..and they hold 19 rounds of 9mm

So will the 9mm CZ 75 mags fit a P0-1 ?

Gordon, the cz75B mags will fit the p01. The older original cz 75's won't.

Thanks for the report eerw, i'll have to think about ordering some now.

got two of the 19rnd AFC mags..look good..follower is same design..just blue..
magpad fits up against the bottom of the gun, and extends about 1/2" below.

take the pad off..the tube is just slightly longer than bottom of the gun..but the baseplate for the 17rnd mag fit up flush.

I ordered 4 more of the 17rnd AFC mags tonight.
