As an AZ CCW holder, North Carolina recognizes my permit. My question is does NC allow CCW in stadiums like the Monday Night Football game tonight in Charlotte? Thanks for your thoughts.

No, for two reasons that I can think of off the top of my head:

- can't carry in an establishment that charges admission
- can't carry in an establishment that serves alcohol.

NC's ccw has so many restrictions on it that it is pretty much useless.

Ok, thanks for the info. Looks like I'll be rather unarmed tonight.

I normally avoid crowds like many here, but I had an opportunity to see the game last night and went. Their security screening procedure was cursory at best. One guy basically drew his hand down your sternum, then around your lower back. Like many public security measures (unfortunately) this was more of a deterrent and to allay public concerns than anything meaningful. At least the game was entertaining.
