Fixed sights .45 (long) Colt Taurus Tracker

Rumor has it (from various gun rags) that Taurus will be coming out with .45 (long) Colt Tracker (http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-details.cfm?model=460SS4&category=Revolver) with FIXED sights. However, there is no mention of this on their website EVEN in the "coming soon" sections.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

One of Taurus sales managers confirmed it when I asked about it many months ago. It's supposed to be part of the "Tracker Adventurer" line. There was a picture of one in American Handgunner several months ago as well. 4" fixed sights, heavy barrel with a full underlug and NO ports.

That 6" barrel version looks downright interesting!

If I was in the market for another .45 LC, I'd be looking into this development rather closely.

Always said that they needed to make 45LC with 5 shot cylinders. :cool:
