Just purchased my 2nd Ruger P95 and a Springfield 1911-A1, but thanks to the "cool down" period I have to wait until Thursday to pick them up...

Does anybody know where to get a good case to carry both my Rugers in (to take to the range etc)?

Also, I want to change out the grips on the 1911, any suggestions on where to get a good deal on some nice grips?

Plano (formerly Doskocil) has some pretty servicable pistol cases.

How are you with rationalization? If you're good at it you might consider buying a S&W Performance Center handgun - just make sure it's one that comes with the aluminum carry case rather than the rug. You needed the case anyway so it's a good excuse to buy another handgun (this is the rationalization part).

Lots of good choices for 1911 grips.

Thanks, I'm going to have to take a closer look at comparing the different cases. From quickly going thru I didn't see any that had cutouts for the guns in the foam, which i'd like to have. I may have to get one with the foam and then cut it out myself.

As for the grips ~ those were nice, but I'd like to get them in black (vice wood), so I think I'll keep looking. I found a site online that had different ones in black but I couldn't tell the texture of them from the picture/description.
