We are going to try and start a "league" shooting IDPA style, not sure of details other than trying to shoot twice a month. Please pm me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Tony

Best of luck to you! IDPA can be lots of fun. Unfortunately, Janesville is way too far for me to drive.

Thanks for the luck!! We can't be more than 3 1/2 hours from SW Wis.:p
Ever shoot in/near Monroe??
Take care

Nope... I don't usually get down that way. Most of my family is in MN, so I spend lots more time over there than in WI. I'm fortunate in that my home club has monthly matches and was this years host for the WI state match.

Keep the status of up coming events or a website that can be visited, posted. Here are a few "some what" close by IDPA Clubs:
www.mchenryidpa.com or www.racineidpa.com

Depending on the times, your could draw a few shooters from them. These guys have been known to travel for a few events...

Enjoy...

Janesville's not _too_ awful far. Let me know, por favor. And where're you going to shoot?

Remind me. Is IDPA the one with the hot-rod race guns, or the one with strictly stock? I can't keep them straight.

Twice a month. Hmm. Once each payday, hit up Gander Mt. in Rockford for their valu-pack of 300 .45 230gr RN. . . .

It's closer to stock, some midifications allowed.
This is the best overall sight I have found for us beginers,
Texas IDPA (http://www.ccidpa.org/)

thanks for the interest,
Tony

Check out www.McHenryIdpa.com for match information. It is about an hour from Rockford. Pinetree (just south of Rocford 15 mintues) had a match once about a year or so ago that had over 50 shooters. Not one since then. Too bad, great place...

litman252 is correct. The closer to stock the better.... With concealment.

Enjoy....;)

Well we are going to try to get this started, again. It's not going to be IDPA yet, just an informal "Pratical Defensive Pistol" shooting night. We will meet and shoot within 1 month for a trial run.
As of right now it will be on Tues. nights at RCRPC, must be a member for now, that could change in the near future.
Check out the RCRPC page (http://rcrpc.net/) for info on the club.

Send me a PM or post any questions for now.....................

We are now shooting the second and fourth Tuesday's of the month. Usually have 6-10 shooters. Can expect a min. of 50 rounds if anybody helps to paste, as much as 75 some nights. Cost is $5.
We have poppers, standing steel and cardboard. We use IDPA scoring but shoot closer to IPSC style. All guns in IPSC are allowed. You can shoot IDPA or whatever you want as long as you are safe, beginers welcome as long as you help out.

Thanks,
Tony
