Okay, the whole model number thing has me thoroughly confused. I don't know black from white, as far as that goes.

But I have the opportunity to purchase a very nice FEG FP9 Hi Power clone with the heavy (ribbed) slide at a VERY good price. The thing is, I don't want to do it if it won't take Browning/FN parts.

I have heard many glowing reports of the FEGs, so I don't think I'll have much trouble, but it still would be a good thing for me to take standard parts.

Thanks for any info.

Wes

I would bop over HERE (http://fnhipower.com/index.php) and ask these guys, especally Stephen Camp. He knows more about the P35 than even John Moses Browning did!! :D

My FP-9 has been a dream come true.I cant definitely say if its 100% HP compatible, but it takes standard HP mags and has been absolutely flawless from round one.Id go so far as to say that its my favorite handgun overall.Get it!!!;)
