Hey all, long time reader, first time poster,

Now that I have the corny introduction out of the way, does anyone know if the magazines for the P245 are compatible with the P220 Compact?

And what I would really be interested in knowing is if these P245 magazines (http://www.sigsauer.com/SigStore/ShowProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=27&productid=81) are compatible.

Plus, I can't seem to find the magazines for the P220 Compact on Sig's website (http://www.sigsauer.com/SigStore/ShowProduct.aspx?categoryid=27).

I've emailed Sig about the questions, but if anyone has actual experience with these magazines, I'd appreciate the feedback.

Boba Fett, welcome. I have a P220 Compact; it was my first, and still favorite 45acp. The mags for either firearm are the same, other than the stamping on the side of the mag. I have 5 mags. All of them are made in Italy. 3 of the 5 are from www.topgunsupply.com They are all stamped Sig Sauer 245. Top Gun people are very decent folks to deal with.

Concerning the extended mags shown on the Sig website: I do not see any reason why they would not work. If you choose to purchase one, let me know how you like it. If you like it a lot, please, please put me on your Christmas list for fellow P220 Compact owners! :cool:

PS. I think Boba Fett carried a Sig P220 Compact in the Star Wars movies, didn't he? :D
