I picked up a Kimber Warrior to play with. The gun was used but looks to be in excellent condition. I hope performance is better than some of the stories I have been reading. I decided to put a set of aluma grips on it which are a little thinner, feel better and look way better than the tan grips that came on it. I'll give it a try this weekend and if it performs well I'll add it to my carry gun list.

Yours is an interal extractor so you should be all set. I owned an origional pro carry and to date it was my favoriate gun. Still waiting to replace it.

I feel much better about this gun now, I can't wait to try it out. I sure like the feel of it. The gun seems to be a little better balanced than my other 1911's but then again maybe it's just because it's the new kid on the block.

I don't see any reason you should have problems with your newly aquired pistol. I currently have 3 Kimbers, one in each size and have yet to have any problems. Enjoy that fine looking 45.

Be prepared to be very happy. I have an internal extractor Kimber and it is just plain awesome. You'll see. Don't let the naysayers get to you.
