There's some technique to using it, but once mastered it's reported to give good results

I have one. It works. It's a PITA to use, you have to have a steady hand and lots of patience.

I just bought one the other day and used it for the first time. I thought it was very easy to use. I bought an extra turret for my classic turret press and installed the die and microscope in the turret. It is very steady and easy to use that way.

i took a clear 2liter pop bottle cut it off & drilled a hole to stick the scope thru , now i can see what i`m doing with it !!!!!

not fancy but it works!!!!!!
