I was wondering the other day how well my carry load for my P-3AT would do. So, I made up a batch of homemade ballistic gel and found out. :D
This is a Speer 90gr Gold Dot HP fired from a KT P-3AT into gel at 3 feet. The load was 3.4gr of Bullseye with a CCI 500 small pistol primer and CCI once fired brass, COL of .968
The recoil and muzzle flash are quite impressive, but overall I'm happy with the result. The expanded diameter was .503 after passing through a layer of denim and just over 12" penetration. For an up close last dig BUG I think it's perfectly adequate.
