What's this Remington worth? It has some minor scratching on the foregrip but the blueing is in good shape.

I have a 1975 3 inch with vent/full choke and I think I paid about $150 for it new, back in the day.
They are great shooting and light enough to carry all day. I used mine on ducks, pheasant and chukar all over SW Idaho.
The downside, you can't do much with them except keep them stock if it is an X or N which mine is. I would like to find a barrel (no vent) some day to "trim down".
This note is quoted from the Remington website unders "shotguns" and "original factory barrels:
IF YOUR MODEL 1100 OR 870 20 GAUGE HAS A SERIAL NUMBER ENDING IN THE LETTER “X” OR “N”, CURRENTLY PRODUCED 20 GAUGE BARRELS WILL NOT INTERCHANGE. IF YOUR SERIAL NUMBER ENDS IN THE LETTER “K”, PLEASE CALL OUR CONSUMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT 1-800-243-9700 FOR ASSISTANCE WITH BARREL OPTIONS."
Hope that is helpful.

Thanks for the responses. This one is an X and the guy was asking $300.00 I thought that was high, especially for the 20 ga.

Maybe not. A lot of people prefer the non-lightweight standard receiver sized guns. And a 20 will always be worth more than a 12.

In South Carolina, it would be a bit high, but not badly so.

I bought one of the lightweight magnums(20 gauge), older model but like new, for $240ish OTD not long ago. An equal condition 12 gauge would generally run the same price or possibly $20 less. That said, I recently bought an older 12 gauge magnum in pretty good shape for $150 OTD.

I would give my eyeteeth for a decent Wingmaster in 20ga for less than $250.
I can usually find Express models for under two bills, but not Wingmasters. Those tend to start on the far side of three bills and go up from there.
