I posted a thread wondering about the Reminton Premier lione of o/u's a while back and didn't get much info, but I recently learned they are manufactured in italy by sabatti arms. Does anyone know anything about these shotguns ?

Sabatti are made in Gardone, Italy, and have been sold under various brand names in different countries. Here in the UK they have been sold as the Browning Medallist (magazine review here (http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/guns/shotguns/126690/Browning_Medallist_shotgun_review.html)) and under their own name as FIAS (Fabbrica Italiana Armi Sabatti).

It is a perfectly good gun and built to shoot for a lifetime, but don't pay Beretta price because it won't have the same resale value.

They are decent shotguns, but "Don't pay Beretta prices" is an excellent bit of sage advice.
The ones I've looked at are working models - but the MSRP was about $250 lower than the street price for a comparable category Beretta.
