I would like to order some wadcutters and powder for my new Gold Cup. A friend will supply the brass, the primers, and load them up for me. I'm new at this and don't really know what exactly to order or where. If someone has a good combination that works well for them and will tell me where to order the stuff, I would grearly appreciate it. I read about a fellow that used a "200 grain Semi-Wadcutter loaded 4.5 grains of WW 231 powder for a velocity of 740 fps," in his Gold Cup. I'm wondering who could fix me up with these materials. Any recommendations?

I happen to like the 200 grain LSWC from www.bulletworks.com
4.5 grains of Win-231 is a very nice shooting round.

I load a lot of Lee 200 TL SWC's that I cast and commercial 200 SWC's that follow the H&G 68 style. I like WW231 with these bullets, but at more velocity. For me, old fuddy dutty Bullseye loaded to 725-750 fps works wonders in any pistol I have tried. 4-4.2 grains of Bullseye gets these velocities for me depending on which pistol I am shooting. Many folks will drop this to 3.5 grains for a very accurate target load with proper spring tuning to allow good functioning.
