It may or may not shoot well. Most rifles shoot the best groups with the action bedded and the barrel free floated. Best thing to do is to shoot it and see how it groups. If the groups are not tight enough for you, get some work done to it. I would expect 1 1/2" groups as it comes out of the box.

I had one in 30-06 that shot better than 2" at 200 yards just like it came out of the box, was one of the package guns with a junk scope on it too. Temperature and humidity did not affect it either. Was a good shooting rifle.
