I think the pictures say it all. You would need a hand truck to carry it around. I thought you guys would like to see it. It does show a bit of creativity.

Hey MAX...

Where's the sling?

It's heavy enough to need one.

I found the pictures posted in a thread at another forum. This shotgun is up for sale for the bargain base price of $575 and the flashlight will cost you $25 more. Ammo not included.

I'd rather have a old JC Higgens pump shotgun bone stock with a fixed choked barrel and old Ray-O-Vac chrome flashlight with the intermittent button and glass lens.

Toss me a old leather shooting shell pouch, and pair of Ray Ban Aviators, or Bushnell Aviators Clear shooting glasses and

One cannot buy skill and targets.

Just toss your money in the cigar box.

No, this ain't hustlin', just some folks put money in a cigar box to get lessons is all. - Mentor

Make that a '74 SX1 with factory smoothbore slug barrel, and ... "and hell followed..."

I am reminded of the guy in black bdu's, boots, Aviator glasses, and a Sheriff hat wrangling carts at walmart last weekend.

So, um, how do you plan on shooting that thing? Let alone picking it up....

Or do you, like, have "a tactical mall ninja assistant dude" that holds the barrel up for you while you shoot?

That is not a beer belly on Mr. Awesome it is a fuel tank for a sex machine.

The guys that compete in 3 gun matches get a break on hanging shells on their shotguns because they need them when they shoot a stage in a match.

I worry about the shotguns that are used for home defense.

3 of Awesome's guns went missing during the night
theories are divided whether they are hiding in shame or grew legs and ran away.

and now more about an alleged marauding 1911 helicopter....

$575 for that shottie? I do like the custom beaded front sight, keep that and add a regular stock to it, just remove all the rest of the junk on there.

I wonder if you could make your money back by selling the pieces individually? The picatinny shell mounts, folding stock and foregrip are prolly worth something.

That thing is as full of crap as a Christmas turkey. Mr. Hairy looks pretty full of it too, come to think of it.

come to think of it, *** is that flashlight? Is that a $5 Wally World Rayovac crimped into a scope ring?

Classic!

You need to change the wording a bit and have really large T shirts made up.

I counted around 54 shotgun shells on the King of Shotguns (not counting what's in the gun)...

It reminds me of those guys who think that when SHTF they'll carry around 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 along with all their other gear, 40 miles into the back country.

All of those extra shells must help with the recoil, thats a lot of extra weight there!;)

I counted around 54 shotgun shells on the King of Shotguns (not counting what's in the gun).

He is competitor in 3 gun matches. They can shoot that many rounds in a single stage of the match. The stages are timed.

Yeah, I found the pic online somewhere already in motivational-poster form. People do need to realize that it's a 3-gun setup.

It's pretty much the mental image I get whenever someone posts pics of their oil-drenched Mossberg with $300 worth of ATI/Tapco bolt-ons, though.

A shotgun with a scope...really???

Actually, I have a scope on my slug gun. It's fully rifled and is accurate enough that the little extra magnification helps at 100y. On the other hand, my smooth bore barrel doesn't have anything but beads and I'll hit out to 75 yards comfortable.

MAX100
December 16, 2008, 08:03 PM
It is actually a cheap red dot sight that looks like a scope. Scopes are fine on a slug shotgun that are used like a rifle or even for turkey hunting. They really have no place on a defense shotgun.
