Just a short question--what comments, based on experience, do you boys have on MagTec primers, more specifically in Small Pistol? As most of you know, primer availability is real poor right now, and that is all I could get, so ordered 5K. Am I going to regret it? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks.

I've used about 5K of them with no problem, I'll take them as soon as any others when I see them on the shelf, just used 100 today.

I have been using Magtec and Wolf without any problems.

MagTech are good primers. They're almost as sensitive as Federal SP primers. You didn't screw up and you won't regret the purchase.
Hope this helps.

I've used them in the past, no problems. I've recently switched to Wolf because they are cheaper.

No problems here >5000 small and ~2000 large pistol primers with out a hitch. These were cheaper and more readily available than Federal. I use Winchester, MagTech, CCI and sometimes Federal.

Can't tell any difference between them and other brands. Bang every time.

MagTec are good. I've used a few thousand of them without any problems or duds. The only thing I found was that the cup sizes seemed to vary a little bit more still fit.

I'll use MagTech, since they're good primers, and Brazil never threatened to wipe us from the face of the earth. I still remember the duck and cover drills from school during the 1950's and what happened over the Cuban missile crises, so I can't bring myself to use the Russian products. But that's just me.
