Whaddya think? I actually got one, and so far I like it. It's got a velcro'd inner area on both sides with a "pocket" or band for a handgun. You can get it in light brown, dark plum/chocolate, or black. I got the dark plum/chocolate one. It was $75 plus tax.

Well, carrying a gun in here is certainly more comfortable than carrying IWB, and no covering garment is required. You could take in somewhere, such as a restaurant, and take the jacket off, and you'd still have your gun there with you. If you are carrying IWB, you can take your covering garment off, and you still have your gun with you, but everyone can see it.

The elastic band inside that holds the gun is a universal type of holster which will hold small and medium autos and revolvers, but there's no thumb latch or anything to really hold it in - just gravity. So if you get physical or take the coat off, the gun could easily just fall out of its holster inside the pouch (bad news), but the gun will still be concealed inside the pouch itself (good news).

The real drawback is that this is a heavy winter coat, and there's no removable lining to make it a lighter fall/spring coat. It'll keep you warm for sure, but you'd look mighty awkward wearing it if the temp is above 45 or 50 deg F.

By the way, the collar is real leather - it's quite an aesthetically pleasing look.
