Your BEST gun related photo?

September 23, 2003, 07:46 AM
What is your BEST gun related photo? Photo must be something YOU made, no photoshoping though! :)

Photo can be a gun at rest, a action shot at the range or anything closely related. Just something where the lighting, colors, and background came out really good. Only gun related photos.

Place yer bets on how long it is until Oleg comes and makes us realize we're amateurs.

Unfortunately, I have no gun photos at the moment. I'll see if I can get something next time I go to the range.

I am NOT a professional photographer (obviously).

Me and some pistols and 2 doggies (out of 4):

As far as pics of beautiful machines go, which do you like better?

Be sure to check out the close-up pics of the "dangling tweeter" and the "stick-on horsepower" on the latter.

I don't have many but i am working on that i really need a digital camera.

Skunkabilly, what is that handgun in your second picture. a 1911 of some sort i assume.

September 23, 2003, 09:20 PM
Skunky's 1911 is a Wilson KZ-45, which has a polymer frame and uses a proprietary double-stack 10 round magazine.

September 23, 2003, 09:21 PM
so how much does one of those run

September 23, 2003, 09:29 PM
Sean Smith do you happen to have a larger version of the Delta picture?

Sisco do you have a larger version of the picture with the M-1 carbine and 1911 on the flag?

My attempt at photography. ( (

Love that 3-gun:
Even better than 3-gun is really nice squadmates who take good pictures and then send you copies after the match :D

Skunk, are you ok buddy? I see several pics posted....but no carbon fiber!?!?!? The tactical poser pic doesn't count. You might wanna use that carbon fiber thermometer to check yer temperature :D

Other than the fact that both of these came from the same side of the Atlantic, they don't have much in common, yet they go together, somehow:)

September 24, 2003, 08:57 AM
Might as well throw these in too

September 24, 2003, 09:11 AM
I'm waiting to see Oleg's favorite.
I cant take pictures to save my life due to my camera being on the fritz at the moment (Kodak something or other, the LCD display doesnt work when taking pictures (good thing it has a viewfinder, the LCD does work when displaying them, and for the options menu, for some reason...), and it gives pure black pictures if I zoom in more than just a little bit).

September 24, 2003, 09:56 AM
I've always been fond of this one.

September 24, 2003, 10:06 AM
My fal...

Man I wish I had a setup like that swingset.... limited to outdoor range only. :(

rayra, I could have sworn that was a beretta. Still good looking though. :)

September 24, 2003, 10:20 AM
Black92LX, MSRP is about $1100, you can find 'em for $1000 or even $900 if you look around. I sold her at $850 with 5 mags to a friend.

September 24, 2003, 04:06 PM
Still waiting for a good action picture involving this rifle, charging through an action rifle stage or 3gun stage.

Call it a sick twisted sense of humor.... That and if bayonets and collapsing stocks are what counts towards making a firearm evil, well, an anti-social bumper sticker must really drive home the point.

September 24, 2003, 04:08 PM
LOL, nice bumper sticker on that rifle stock!

"I hate people"!!!!!!!!!!!

September 24, 2003, 04:21 PM
Yeah, a friend of mine YEARS ago got it for me before I even owned any of my current collection.

Few months back I was cleaning out some old shelves in the closet and found it. It was like an instantaneous "JACKPOT" thing where I knew exactly what to do with it.

Totally politically incorrect and doesn't do a single thing for the cause but heck, deep down inside many of us there's something that makes us like it.

I'm looking for a white peace symbol to put on the other side of the stock to give it a sort of Yen/Yang. Something about the duality of man as Joker put it, "What's your problem soldier? You have written on your helmet Born to Kill but yet you've got a peace button as well?"

Or.... Maybe I put the sticker on there because my "DIE HIPPIE DIE" sticker was already on the bumper of my truck?

September 24, 2003, 05:29 PM
spacemanspiff, I hope you shot that filthy arachnid as soon as you fished out your gun. :uhoh:

Man, I hate arachnids. :uhoh:

the flatrock scorp died recently. got it in the freezer, never know when a prank will need to be pulled ya know. and that emporer has also died, it too is set aside for future use.

i'd like to get some pics of one of my tarantulas on a gun, but they are a little more unpredictable, they can move a lot faster and have more options as to where they want to go than scorpions do.

Nightcrawler, that quote is from the show "The Critic", where Jay runs out of chicken in his bucket and with glazed-over eyes, starts eyeing the guy in a chicken costume and muttering "All I want is a taste, maybe just a thigh..."

Its one of my favorite shows.:D Its coming out on DVD soon.

October 7, 2003, 11:30 PM
It was taken in Freedom, NH at a place many of the locals shoot. It’s a closed road except for ATVs. There’s a steep rise on the other side of the road that makes an excellent backstop.
Never fails that someone always has something to say without knowing the details. This isn’t Ohio.
