Ok, I realize I'm mostly a lurker. I'm here several time a week and I migrated even before TFL closed down but I don't have much to say and usually when I do say something, it's generally ignored (kinda like here at home :D ) but STILL tagged as a new member after almost a year? Come on!

Anyone care to bet on how long this non- gunrelated post takes to get locked down?

100 posts to "earn" senior member status.

It should be locked pretty quick.

Stick to your GUNS, buddy! I have the New Member tag because I was posting under a different handle.

->Edit: Well, I HAD the new member tag.

from the technical page:

The member title/post count rundown is:
New Member: 0 to 29 posts
Member: 30 to 99 posts
Senior Member: 100 or more posts

I think that after 30 posts you lose the "new" tag. After 100, you get "senior" status.

You obviously place too low of a value on your own opinion. See, I just "earned" another post by telling you this. :neener:

I was told this was all done on an individual basis...by a panel of our peers...

The only functional change is that at 500 posts you can alter the calendar. There aren't any title changes after 100 posts. 30 and 100 are it.

And what , pray tell , does "alter the calendar" mean. ?
Can I get one that runs backward ?
Tired of gettin older.

Duh?
I never noticed the calendar in the upper right corner before...when did that happen? ;)

Oh Sam, it does go back, but only to year 2000.

Ok, time to read and figure out the calendar ...
Maybe someone will ask why some have other names under thier username ( figuring it's a forum, mod, admin., leader perk),but since once again I prove that the older I get- the less I know I'll just wait for someone to ask and answer.

By "alter the calendar" I mean post public events. Private ones are not visible to anyone else, at least not that I can tell.
