Do mossberg 600 barrels interchange with Mossberg 500 barrels?

If it matters, the 600 I'm looking at is stamped saying that it takes 2 3/4" as well as 3" shells.

Anything wrong with the 600? I'm thinking it could make a decent trunk gun.

One more thing:
The 600 receiver is aluminum just like the 500 right?

OK i'll save you having to answer. I looked again and my google-fu was better second time around. Yes. The barrels interchange so long as they are meant for the same mag length.
