Silly question:
Is there any noticable difference in POI of New and Once fired (in same gun)?
I'm getting ready to start working some loads.

What are we talking about here? New unloaded brass vs once fired brass. Or new loaded cartridges vs once fired brass?
If it's new brass vs once fired brass...I have never found any difference between the two. If it's new loaded cartridges vs once fired brass. When you shoot the new loaded cartridges you'll have once fired brass.:D

I guess what I should say is:
I've a bunch of New brass I'm going work up loads with.
Will these loads be any different after the brass is loaded again (formed to Ind. chamber)?

I once heard that new brass will give you a few fps more than reloaded brass. Have never ran an experiment to see if its true but a plausible explanation could be that previously fired brass, even thoug resized, has been expanded when fired and may have more inside volume than say a totally new case of minimum dimensions.

PecosRiverM...Do you have a chronograph? If so try an experiment with new brass and a run of once fired brass. I doubt that you will see much difference. Maybe 25 to 40 fps, if that. Even if you only resize the necks I doubt you will see that much difference.
Try it and let us know what you find...

Yes I do have one.
Will do.
Hopefully I'll have time over Christmas to load some (All my equipment is at Dad's house).

Yes, it will be (slightly) different. Maybe better, maybe not. Every gun responds differently. You'll just have to try it.
