Not sure what a good low-profile, bore-centered rail would be for <$50?
Also, what do you think of the POSP scopes? Do they sit too high and are they uncomfortable to chin weld? I'm looking at a 4x24 and a 2.5-5x24, both <$200. Would you buy the fixed POSP for simplicity, or splurge for the variable knowing it might eventually quit working? Should I avoid russian electronics (i.e. optional laser) knowing there's no warranty?
I have a Saiga .308 21" which I intend to convert; I was going the wooden "Saiganuv" route, but now I'm thinking about hacking the grip off of the romie drag stock and putting on an aftermarket grip with a palm shelf/rest. BTW, does anybody know where to buy a palm shelf? The only ones I can find are for AR grips.
