Does anyone know if such an item exists? If so where could I find one?

I'm thinking no.

I believe, for center fire cartridges, the 44Mag and higher (Pressure/power) had unfluted cylinders.

However, I could be wrong...

I've only seen one unfluted cylinder and it was for a .44spl conversion on the gp100 (which I would love to have) but they no longer make it. I was hoping I may be able to find one for just the .357 version or any for that matter, so long as its unfluted and for the gp

Highly unlikely. Flutes are a weight reducing thing. The GP is heavy enough as it is.
"...a .44spl conversion on the gp100..." Not by Ruger.

sure wasn't, it was clements customs, he use to offer a 5 shot 44spl conversion on the gp100 but ended up discontinuing it and selling the equipment due to lack of a turn out for it.

I just want the cylinder for looks.

If you want an unfluted cylinder you're going to have to pay someone to make one totally from scratch. For the same price, you could probably buy another GP100 or two.

Might be easier to fill the flutes on a stock cylinder with a welder, but this would require a ton of finish grinding and polishing, and heat treating the cylinder again.

One thing is for sure, you're NOT going to find one on a shelf somewhere.

yeah I figured I wouldn't find anything factory made, I was more hoping a custom shop that does runs of special parts may have done a small run of them but I guess I'll just have to get one custom made. thanks everyone for your help.
