Those are very light, I prefer the all stainless 649. It weighs a half pound more but the strength difference is worth it to me. Either way you can't go wrong for a CCW.

Awesome 642 you got there vikz. :)

I have two airwieghts. One is a 642 Centenial like yours, the other is a 638 Bodyguard. To say that I love these 2 little guns would be an understatement. I have one of them on me all the time. Like your pics show, they are so light and handy that they truly are 24/7 CCW guns.

My 642 is my main revolver and it is now wearing a Houge Monogrip which really soaks up recoil and adds controlability. I carry it IWB so the extra length of the Houge grip is not a problem. This set-up lends a great feel to the little revolver and it is no harder to carry around than a cell phone. I can't say enough good things about it.

I left the stock grips on my 638 and it serves as my pocket gun. It seems to me that the humped hammer shroud lends to a smoother draw out of a pocket. My standard Florida attire is either blue jeans or cargo shorts and the 638 fits it's role perfectly.

Here are a few of pics of my guns to add to the thread:

10 rounds, rapid fire at 7 yards
