quick question:
will the AWB expiration mean that "21 for a handgun" will also go away or is that another law.

That's another law.
It's part of the GCA '68 which established the entire FFL dealer system.
Although, depending on your state law there's ways around that. The 21 age limit is only to buy a handgun from an FFL. If you are under 21, but over 18, in several states it's perfectly legal to buy a handgun in a private person-to-person transaction if you are both non-felon residents of the same state.
Also, it's legal for you to recieve a handgun as a gift from an over-21 parent etc.

c-bag, "21 for a handgun" was part of the SSA of '68. This is why we have not had any crime since November of 1968.
