What are the quality .22 SA revolvers on the market today? Looking for something with 6+ in the cylinder that is a real shooter. .22LR is what I want. Thank you for your help and don't forget to celebrate our lord Jesus.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Ruger Single Six. I have one and love it, it's tons of fun.

On the low end of the spectrum, the Heritage Rough Rider. (http://heritagemfg.com/site/department.cfm?id=50)
The best combination of quality and price is the Ruger Single-Six. New ones (actually since 1973) allow all six chambers to be loaded.
On the high end of the spectrum, there is the Freedom Arms 83 rimfire.

Ruger Single Six is probably the least expensive high quality single action 22 ever made.

Check out Freedom Arms. probably the most accurate and also the most costly production revolvers around. ($1,700 to $2,200)

Don't forget the Uberti Stallions. http://www.uberti.com/firearms/stallion_bisley_and_cattleman_bird_head.php

Nice guns, but still attainably-priced.
Only thing I've ever felt I had to do to a Uberti SA was put in Wolff Springs for a few bucks.

I like my Colt Frontier Scout a lot better than the Ruger Single Six I used to have. I guess it's a matter of personal preference. It's like a scaled down and lightweight Colt SAA. Similar to the Uberti Stallion, except this is a genuine Colt. The one I have is 22LR only. They made a newer version called the Peacemaker. They also made a version with target sights called the New Frontier.

Technically, the NAA mini master is a single action and it's of high quality construction. Ruger for the traditional. I like the little bearcat as well as the single six if you can find one.

So that's how old J.W. could always shoot six then six more without reloading.

LOL DMW
MC reminded me, I also have a NAA Mini in .22LR. Very fine workmanship, materials and construction. I can actually have fun shooting cans with it at up to 10 paces or so.
But I didn't figure that's what you wanted.:)
