That is a cool looking gel profile. Looks like bad news for small pests.

If you used a mag in the Glock, did the tested load cycle the slide and chamber the next round?

Thanks,

salty

I did have the magazine in the weapon and the slide locked back. Recoil was actually comparable to a FMJ.

Best regards,
John

That is pretty cool. Makes me wish I had some of those loads, and a bad rat problem:)

I put a blue ring(kinda hard to see) around it and obviously the arrow.

A load of that to the face would probably get your attention, eh? :what:?

That circle is part of the shot-cup or the wadding for the shot, best as I can tell.

whoever did these tests was definately going about it in a professional manner. in one of the pictures you can see the BB used in the calibration. nice post by the way. next you should try those one .45 frangible loads with the bird shot core... MAGSAFE i belive makes them. those would make for some nice pictures as well

Thank you for the nice comments. We try to be as professional as possible doing these tests, as we are usually getting paid by somebody to do them... :)

mgregg85 - That is the wadding. I can post additional pictures of the wadding, if there is an interest.

mgkdrgn - It's hard to deny that one of these shots to the face would probably put someone out of the fight.

icebones - Magsafe would be interesting to test as well.
