Any trouble outthere with CCI shot shells?

Put a few CCI shot shells through my P95 today before its normal mixed food of plinker and defense loads and was not impressed by multiple failures to eject! I got the shot shells to mix with hollowpoints for safer home defense in an apartment setting but it looks like I'll be sticking with light JHPs unless Glaser safety slugs dramatically drop in price. Anyone else have or hear of problems with shot shells in autoloader applications? Thanks.

Shotshells are designed for wmall critters at close range...a survival option for edible's when in the field! Not self defense!!!
They are totally ineffectual for such tasks, lacking pentration.
The shotshells I have tried over the years were mainly for the .45 acp, since that has been my major field and defense gun for near three decades. Most of my .45's eat em, some do not....
It matters little, for I only have a few and they are special purpose field items in my 'ready kit' whilst in the boonies.
close range rats, scare off a racoon, maybe some pigeons in the barn, close range snake protection(but mainly that is what eyes and ears are for)- see snake, walk around snake.
Glasiers? Well, I have heard they can be quite devestating, BUT you are giving up some possible pentrationin addition to ALOT) of money.
Stick with good JHP's for defense, and practise some with them and alot with ball. The same bullet weight keeps the load, more or less, in line with the sights.

I tried the .22lr shotshells out of my Ruger 10/22 and they would not cycle the action and I had two of the capsules break open upon slamming behind a case stuck in the breech and jaming the mag itself. The shot pattern was all over the target so it's no good at 15 feet. If you feel like testing them out I would suggest running them through a revolver instead and semi auto gun.
