it might be in the wrong place but we can still answer his question.

they are inexpensive 1911's and they are plenty bang for your buck. i have shot a few and was impresed. there are alot of happy owners of the ria.

wrong section bro lol! But yeah Rock Islands are great .45s for the price. I had one, never had a problem, then I traded it for an M&P .45.

Thread saved. :D

I've not heard anything bad about RIA 1911s from those who own them.

I have three, they're wonderful pistols. Armscor also make rifles, but I don't know if we can get them here in the US.

One of the best buys for the money. I currently have 2 and shoot them all the time. I plan on getting more of them once money permits after the Holidays.

I have a RIA tactical that I shoot USPSA with. It is a great gun, but replace the springs after about 5000 rounds.

I get a kick out of beating the guys with the $3000 wilson combats with my $400 gun.

Definately not a rifle, but for the money they're great shooters.:)

For $400 and change my RIA tactical was the best buy of the year. Way more accurate than it should be for the price and mine had a terrific trigger right out of the box. Get the Tactical, it's worth the extra few $.

I don't have one but my neighbor does. It had a few "break in" hiccups but after that it was fine.

Its on my list of guns to buy. The finish isnt as "Pretty" as a higher grade but what do I care? I'm gonna point and go bang with it not put it in a displaycase.
