Foreseen. Expected. Unwelcome.

That is why I own guns, ammo, and did I mention lots of ammo. A WMD attack with MR Obama in office would spell disaster. We are seriously in big trouble if it happens.

I fear the economic problems are more severe than we are led to believe. I think it will get worse before it gets better.

I think I can handle it. I've lived quite awhile under marital law, which is very similar to martial law. I just wish I were better at martial arts than I am at marital arts.

Seems Paulson raised to specter of civil unrest in order to free up money for the bank bailout. Irresponsible but not unexpected.

"Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma and Rep. Brad Sherman of California disclosed that Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson discussed a worst-case scenario as he pushed the Wall Street bailout in September, and said that scenario might even require a declaration of martial law. "

Got to kinda laugh at the idea of Martial law all over the country. My town has 50,000 people and 48 cops that cover all three shifts.

Even if they call in 20,000 troops each soldier would have to guard 15,000 people. One should understand that if trouble happens you are on your own.

I don't really care what people are writing about or speculating about, I'm going to be a happy, normal person until something actually happens to me or my loved ones. :neener:

And Gen. Tommy Franks, who led the U.S. military operations to liberate Iraq, said in a 2003 interview that if the U.S. is attacked with a weapon of mass destruction, the Constitution will likely be discarded in favor of a military form of government.

And there you have it
