At any point and time has anyone made a 44 pump rifle? My friend played some kind of cabela's game and said that some company made a 44 magnum rifle.

Are they still making them and If so where can I get one?

IMI imported the Timber Wolf pump rifle in .357 and .44 Magnum calibers. Both can occasionally be found on Gunbroker, the .357 goes for around $ 700 and the .44 goes for closer to $1000. It's a shame because I remember seeing them in a store in Utah being closed out for $149 a piece for either caliber in the mid 1990s. I really wish I would have grabbed up a .44 Mag.

Not pump, but Ruger makes a 44 mag carbine (looks like a stock 10/22 till you look at the barrel).

I have an IMI Timberwolf in 38/357.
Great gun. Apparantly only a handful of the 44 mag were ever imported.

Not many .44 's in Canada either....less then 100 for sure.

I got this one used a few years ago....still looking for a smaller brother in .357....

Interesting looking carbine. How well do they feed, are they picky to cartridge length?
What kind of accuracy?
thanks,

AWA makes a pump but it is only chambered for cowboy rounds.

Leadhead- What type of scope and rings are you running? I would like a similar set up on my Timberwolf.

Why not consider a good ole fashioned lever gun in 44Mag? Makes for some cool sounds too, different from a pump sound.

Merry Christmas everyone!

It's a millet SP-1 red dot and I can't remember the rings right now.....
I have not run lots of different loads through it but I've never had any issues with the function of the gun....the trigger is a little mushy but it balances well and comes on target easily for me!
I actually have never shot a group with it...:uhoh: but soup cans at 100 yards are not safe with the red dot!:)
I just got some reloading gear so I will have to do some experimenting with a scope and handloads soon....
