Hey guys. I've got a Yugo SKS and I'd like to do some modifications to it but I need some help. I want to put an ATI stock on it which I know how to do. I just need to know how to remove the grenade launcher, grenade sights, and bayonet. Any help will be appreciated and if anyone has any links to videos of this being done that would be great. I think a good place to start is www.surplusrifle.com if you can't find it there you should find links to get you there. I have a Yugo SKS also which I enjoy as stock as it will remain. Something to consider the gun should be considered C&R. By modifying it you will no longer have this classification and then must comply with 922r regulations. To be legal under this you must replace enough parts to have no more than 10 imported parts. Another place you should check is www.tapco.com for compliance parts. The last time I looked they have all the parts you need to stay legal. Jim.
