Hey I have a benelli monefeltro 12 gauge with Heckler and Koch stamped on it. I have no idea what this means or anything about it. My friend tried to buy it but before he did he was talking to a gun dealer about it and that guy said it was a jamming machine and was worth half or less of a regular monefeltro. Can anyone tell me more about this and if there is any truth to this statement or not? Thanks

The Montefeltro is a fine machine. Im not sure why the gun dealer would badmouth it. He is either full of ****, misinformed, or maybe used a lemon at one time or another.
If Im not mistaken, the Super 90/XM1014 was a joint project between HK and Benelli to be used by our military. The Montefeltro is essentially the same action as the Super 90, but more geared up for bird hunters.
Do you happen to have any pictures of the gun?

Heckler & Koch used to import Benellis, they stopped somewhere around 2000, IIRC. If it was imported during that time it might explain the stamp.

that guy is full of ****. my m1 super 90 has hk stamped on it also and runs great through anything. I guess he would say mine is a jamming machine. they are worth good money for obvious reasons. shoot it and do not worry about what he says. he obviously does not know what he is talking about. RG
